Addon to Multi-Vendor allows vendor to set up his own password to administration panel. When requesting an account in Marketplace, vendor in special field (added earlier by admin in section "Profile fields") types password to his account. After acceptance by main administrator, a vendor administrator account is created and password for it is set, basing on one from application form.

We start from installing an extension:

In add-on configuration we type name of profile field, which will store vendor account password, or ID of this field.

Profile field must be created in tab Administration -> Profile fields, in section Vendor information.

If vendor during registration types password in desired field, and he'll be accepted by main administrator, password in form will be set to vendor administrator account.

Vendor administrator account is created during first activation of vendor:

After accepting vendor, an e-mail is sent to him containing link to panel, login and password.

Wonderful add-on. Simple to install and simple to setup. The add-on allows your vendors to set their own password in the registration process which greatly improves their user experience. All the normal system generated emails continue to work - they now contain the vendor specified password.

Support is fantastic if you get stuck (which you probably won't). We also had some small custom work added to this add-on which was preformed quickly and without fault. I can say buy the add-on with confidence if you want to enhance the vendor registration process from both the speed of registration but also with comfort that Add-on Support is available if you need it.
