Addon to CS-Cart and Multi-Vendor allows you to sell products by meters, weight, in packages containing defined amount of product, which is a float value. With this addon you can sell food (measured in grams, kilograms), products sold in packages (ex. floor panels) and other things which have a float amount. The addon can work in two modes:
We start from installing an addon:
Important: The add-on requires changes to the core system, so after installing the add-on, follow the steps described in the README file.
With this option, we can prevent customer from typing amount of products, allowing him to use only plus and minus buttons:
On product, which will be sold in fractional measures, we need to set two marked fields:
On product card and products list we can increase or decrease amount of products, basing on quantity step:
Quantity field width is flexible, so customer will always see the amount of product which is added to cart:
In cart we can also change fractional measures of product:
If in Settings -> Appearance -> Use 'Value changer' for the Quantity field, we disable the checkbox, then we will be able to enter any fraction of the amount of the product when shopping in the store and purchase this amount

Amount of products can be also changed during order edition, in the same range as during checkout:
When adding new products to cart in panel, we can also choose exact amount:
This extension is useful in grocery stores, which sell products basing on weight, furniture stores and many more.

This is a unique solution for the sale of goods fractional amount, we sell fabrics, the buyer can buy as 1 meter, and it is often necessary for example 1.5 meters, the standard functionality of cs-cart does not allow it to do, and this Supplement works both with a multivendor and a simple version of cs-cart)

Robert from SoftSolid was very helpful to support us and make sure his add-on integrates into our shop and works together with other add-ons.
A feature request for SoftSolid: please add a very simple option to specify unit of measurement. When we use fractions, it is crucial for the customer to understand if it is kilograms, litres, square meters, etc. Would be enough to add on the Options page a list where I can add units (should be translatable into all shop languages), and then to show a dropdown with units on the product pages. Then I can select a unit from the dropdown, and it will be showed next to the price, like "10 EUR / kg", and next to the amount I want to purchase "0.5" kg. Currently I have to use another plugin for this.
