Extension to CS-Cart and Multi-Vendor allows to change interaction between quantity discounts and catalog promotions.
We start from installing an extension:
Add-on changes the logic only if customer has assigned a catalog promotion. On below example promotion gives customer 10% discount for all products.
In our example, the base price of the product is 150 USD, which drops to 130 when purchasing three and to 120 when purchasing five.
When add-on is NOT active, quantity discounts work BEFORE catalog promotions. After adding five products to the cart, a calculation (150-30)*0,9 is made - which gives final price of product equal to 108 USD.
After activating add-on, the order changes - quantity discounts work AFTER catalog promotions. In that case, price of the product will be (150*0,9)-30 - equal to 105 USD.
